Me in Book Characters

Ok, I’m getting back into some book tags! These are so much fun. Whoever wants to join in feel free!

I’d like to thank The Orang-utan Librarian for posting this!

The Rules:

  1. Thank the creators of the tag (Ash & Lo @ windowsill books)
  2. Thank whoever tagged you or you stole this from 😉
  3. List 5 book characters who you are most like and explain why.
  4. Tag your friends!

First, because this is the easiest for me is Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games because as soon as I was finished with the first chapter I was like this is so me in high school it is crazy! Maybe it’s because I kind of had a rough start in life like her but it was kind of like reading about myself in another setting lol. Needless to say, I got kind of bored with her character because who wants to read about a character who is too close to their own personality?

Second, is Louis from Interview with the Vampire. He often overthinks too much. This is me. And he often thinks about how society works and where he fits into things. He can be a bit melancholy at times. But I think that is why I love him so much because he cares so much about humankind.

Next is Lucy from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. This was me as a child. Probably a little too trusting. Saw the good in everyone. Had a big imagination and just went with the flow. I think the imagination thing carried over and is why I like to write now. Still putting my imagination to use. 😉

The Prince from The Little Prince. I always seem to friend that one person who is hard to get along with and no one else seems to like, but I find beauty in them anyway. I’ve moved away from toxic people like that over the past 5 years, but I can’t help but feel like they need a friend too.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I’m on a diet…I’m hungry all the time!!! I want to eat all that food, but I know I wont have the same happy ending the caterpillar did :(. Also, I teach at an elementary school so I read this every year 🙂
